Plush Fiction - A Sammy 'Sado Friend' Plush Doll - Greenbag Toys

Last year, I reviewed 'Sammy the Sado' by Greenbag Toys & included an early teaser for the Sammy plush doll! The wait is over & they're finally here! I'm a huge fan of Sammy. This doll is pretty ridiculous, but much like it's resin counterpart, Sammy continues to appeal to me!

Sammy is a delivery of fantasies, his job is answering the calls of the avid customers searching for new and exciting experiences. Sammy does not speak, he only listens, smiles and execute. For him there's not an impossible, sufficiently risky or weird fantasy, in the Sammy's world, everything is possible, you just have to call and wait until he knocks on your door.

The Plush Fiction doll comes packaged with a print(from the photo-shoot done for the release of the toy!) & two tank tops! It's always fun to get a toy that can actually be played with. Sammy even has velcro on his hands(though mine seems to be a bit fat to hold his hands together!).

Sammy was sewn by Rophy Creationes. They did an amazing job! The Sammy plush is about 11 inches tall & was limited to just 20! For only $60US(with free shipping worldwide!), this rare plush doll is well worth the price!

Sammy's custom tank tops are adorable! "I 'Heart' Muff" & "Suck It" are the perfect statements to adorn Sammy with! Though personally, I'm quite fond of his curly chest-hair!

Greenbag Toys also threw in the most awesome poster! They recently collaborated with Handsome Studio for the Art Toy Culture shore in Korea. As a result, we have this most amazing image of a Cute Snout(TTL) being straddled by Sammy! Extra bonus, the print is A3, so shouldn't prove difficult to frame(thank goodness!).

The trouble with plush toys, is displaying them. Sammy is HUGE! I've decided I'm going to create a custom display(which will hopefully fit ALL my Sammys). This requires a trip to IKEA. I will, maybe, do another blog post once I have it all prettified!

Next in the works for Greenbag Toys, is Brother Sacrum! I'm unsure when he's due for release, but I'm incredibly eager! Sammy is Greenbag Toys vision of sex & sexual desire. Brother Sacrum, in contrast, reveals Greenbag Toys views on organised religion.

Sammy will always be my favourite, but I'm excited to add Brother Sacrum to my collection in the future! I also cannot wait to see what else Greenbag Toys creates for us in the future!

As I write this, there are still a handful of Plush Fiction dolls available! If you'd like to buy one, or just check out Greenbag Toys other work, you can find him on instagram, facebook

Happy Tree Friends - Flippy

Who doesn't love Happy Tree Friends? I've been mildly obsessed since I first caught the show on tv about 12years ago. Got my first HTF plushie, Cuddles, a couple of years later(in a showbag at the Brisbane Ekka). Since I became a eBay freak in recent years, I've managed to hunt a few more down for my collection. The Hunter Leisure plush set is surprisingly difficult to come by, I often wonder if I'll ever complete the set.

However, I managed to hunt down Flippy recently. He's probably one of the harder to find(i think people like his dogtags), so I'm glad to have finally acquired him.

He's now on my bookshelf, amongst the 4 other characters I own(& a handful of other plushies).

One day I shall complete the set, by that point the entire back section of that shelve will be filled with HTF goodness. I really do love plushies, it's too bad they take up such an excessive amount of space! For this collection however, it's worth it.

Dead Plushy - Cyanide & Happiness

Explosm released their 'Dead Plushy' a couple of weeks ago, I ordered one the moment they were available. Mostly because I find C & H extremely amusing. One of these days I hope to acquire all their books as well.

This is my first C & H plushy, I will definitely acquire more in the future. This is a personal favourite however(though I would like to track down one of their naked plushies!). I'm thinking of displaying him separately from the rest of my plush collection, or perhaps keep him where he'd be appreciated the most.

Definitely seems like an appropriate shelf for a dead plushy, it seems like the company one would associate himself with. Many new furniture plans for the near future however(of course I'll share photos when I get my toys sorted), so who knows where things may end up.

False Idols

I decided to finally begin this blog today, mostly due to a package I received this morning. For years I've been a fan of Kevin Smiths work & have sought to own some of the memorabilia he's had produced. I had a little spare cash recently, so took the opportunity to order two items I wanted badly.

One plus side to waiting so long to make this purchase, they've introduced female shirts, so I finally ordered myself a 'Got Christ?' tank top. For any fellow fans out there, you'll remember Jason Mewes in this tank top in Clerks II. Absolutely hilarious film, I'm eagerly awaiting the third installment of the series.

To complete my order, I finally got my a Mooby the Golden Calf plushie! Absolutely adorable & will be a great addition to my plushy collection!

I was sent a few little extras in my package as well, always a nice surprise. I particularly love the Ben Affleck badge. Such an amusing little item.

Of course, there is still one item I want(well, one item I REALLY want anyway), the Buddy Christ Bobblehead. Though I already own the Buddy Christ Dasboard Statue, which will tide me over for the time being.

A lovely way to begin my week. Hopefully I'll have another few deliveries worth blogging about soon. In the meantime, I've got many post planned about items I hope to order in the future. So except many more posts in the near future!
