Tofufu Studio - Mini Prints

Recently, I stumbled across Tofufu's store on etsy, 'Tofufu Studio' & was simply compelled to buy a few of their mini prints! They're adorable, limited to 500 & extremely reasonably priced. I settled on three designs.

Of course, the wonderful people at Tofufu threw in an extra little print for me, a fantastic little treat. I cannot wait to put these up, I plan to display them with a bunch of my toys. I need to acquire some appropriate hanging paraphernalia first however. For now, they'll be stashed away with my collection of un-hung artwork. Definitely something I hope to rectify soon.

I;m a huge fan of Tofufu, particularly their artwork. They offer a selection of some of the cutest little pieces of art available anywhere, I'm incredibly proud to me a new owner of some of their work! They of course also supply an epic selection of toys, which is always a plus for me & my fellow collectors!

Cheestroyer Cheeseburger - Double Haunt - Kickstarter

I just want to bring attention to a brilliant kickstarter that's running at the moment. Double Haunt creates fantastic little critters(he also happens to be from Brisbane & I like to support my local toy creators!) & right now he's collaborating with Bad Teeth Comics to try & produce the comic character 'Cheestroyer' into a vinyl toy.

Crazy Kaiju Cheeseburger Vinyl Toy from Australia's Bad Teeth Comics & Double Haunt
--- The Mini Cheestroyer!!

Imagine relaxing on the beach and suddenly seeing a huge creature emerging from the ocean.. Could it be Godzilla?? As it bursts through the surface you recognize a familiar image - a sesame seed bun!! The "Mini Cheestroyer" has arrived and here's your chance to bring him to life in the form of a wonderful Glow in the Dark soft vinyl toy measuring 4.5 inches tall with articulated head and waist joints!

The rewards for pledging are brilliant, pocket-burger monsters, different versions of the vinyl Cheestroyer(glow, clear & numerous others), original art etc. All very reasonable prices too. I say jump on it while you have the opportunity, certain items are available through pledging only. Score yourself some fun rare items!
It is one insane looking kaiju-esque toy. I wanted to pledge, but tragically I'm incapable of doing so at the moment(No debit or credit card. Something I seriously intend to rectify in the near future, so I can support toy kickstarters). I would hate to see their goal fail however, I'm always inspired when I see the effort people put in to create their toys. It's something worth supporting in my opinion.

Chou-Cho the Wing Monster - Rampage Toys Edition - Grumble Toys

So happy about my new toy! My first Kaiju!
Now, to emphasise why this toy appealed to me, I must embrace my geekiness. I'm a huge fan of the Buffy: The Vampire Slayer series & this little toy SO reminded me of one of the creatures from the show, that I simply had to own it! The Queller Demon from 'Listening to Fear'. Ok, so it's incredibly strange reasoning to want a toy, but I'm weird like that.

This purchase is of course, as a result of my new obsession with Rampage Toys. Browsing through their store seems to automatically result in me spending money. Additionally, looking up the artist Grumble Toys, I've learned there's at least another two version of this toy. I'm seriously considering buying another! For now however, I have the adorable dark green version. Incredibly creepy & incredibly cute too. This toy is everything a toy should be!

The arrival of this toy was slightly delayed. Turns out one cannot use a box with the word 'produce' on it, to ship things to Australia. So my package was sent back to Rampage Toys due to a tomato sauce box. Due to the delay however, they sent me a little something extra. A little cupcake dude keshi called 'Micro Cake'. He's based on their Cupcake Kaiju character. So adorable & a great addition to my keshi collection. It's always nice to find something a little extra in ones packages afterall. So today, I'm happy.

As always, apologys for my crappy photography. I really need to buy a photography tent, it's hard to prioritise for one when I'm much more inclined to buy toys.
Hopefully I'll have another toy or two arrive this week in fact(one never knows with Australia Posts crappy work ethics), might buy another one or two if I have the funds too. One must plan for future blog posts afterall.
Also, I suppose I should mention the little signature image I've created to end my blogs with. Basically I just found the end of my blogs didn't look 'right', so I created a little blob-dude with a hat. I may one day try sculpting him, but that will be FAR into the future I think. I do think he's cute though & it's nice to have a kind of 'mascot' for my blog.

Greasebat & Friends Gummi Play Set - Jeff Lamm

A truly spontaneous purchase, the Greasebat & Friends Gummi Play Set. I saw these get listed on rotocasted & simply couldn't resist buying a set for myself. Jeff Lamm does adorable work(I mean, if you're into kaiju) & this is the first time I just happened to have some spare funds to acquire some of his toys.
Unbox Industries were only asking $13 per set(available in orange or pink), the temptation was just too much. These are just sickeningly cute & made of rubber! Love rubber toys, they're so trashy, but in a good way! I'm so happy about these. Who doesn't love a dash of orange amongst their toys & they're only about 6cm tall, adorable.
