Bascot - Buzz Milk & Honey Drill - Noriya Takeyama

I finally managed to add to my Noriya Takeyama collection! Her stuff is very difficult to find, but I'm a huge fan of her 'Bascot' collection. A few years ago I stumbled across her toys on ebay, managed to pick up a set of her faux leather plush deer Bascots at a very reasonable price. I have since, done regular checks for the rest of the series. I found someone selling two of the vinyl toys, at a crazy-low price. I HAD to bid!
I'm officially two toys closer to a complete set. Only two more to hunt down. These toys are insanely cute! I'm simply in awe over how adorable they are. These toys make me happy!

These wonderful toys are vinyl & about 5.5-6inches tall, very nice size, works wonderfully with the body shapes. I personally really love the backs of these toys, the little drill-tail on Honey Drill is adorable! Also love the added detail of the spine-ridges, they really 'complete' the figures I think. Overall, I think these are fantastic, so glad I've finally acquired a couple of them. Now I just have to spend the next year or so hunting down the last two(Honey drill in blue, Buzz Milk in pink).
Additionally, while I'm here typing, I apologise(as usual) for neglecting my blog recently. I've been busy with work & I've also been obsessively reading, which seems to keep me away from my pc. I'm working on getting my blog-flow back however, so bare with me!

Child’s Play 2 - Horror Be@rbrick - Series 25

I just remembered I have another toy I'd forgotten to blog about. I'm planning to buy a display for be@rbricks soon, as a result it occurred to me I should actually buy a few more. So, the first one I've acquired is the Child's Play 2 release(there's also a 400% version & a variant).

Not the most unique be@rbrick available, but only the first of many(I already have the two Giger 100% ones, but they have their own display boxes). Hopefully by the time I buy the display for them, I have a few more & taking a photo is worth it. For now, at least I've made a start, as it's ridiculous how many be@rbricks I want(mostly film focused ones).

Not a bad starter-bear. He was extremely cheap, which is why I bought him(just happened to have a spare $10 at the time). Hopefully I'll be picking up another few cheaper ones soon, though I'm sure I'll share them here to let you know, when the time comes.
Again, just a warning that my funds are a little low at the moment, so new toy posts might be a little rare for a while. I'm planning to do a few 'things I want' blogs in the near future, keep you all entertained while I'm poor.

Polar Edition BearAll - Jon-Paul Kaiser - Rhyme Square

Received my BearAll - Polar Edition recently(took me about a week to get a decent photo. There was many failed attempted). Ordered from eBay, from Daniel Perry(Jazzydan) who runs fugi.me & was a finalist for 'best collection' in the designer toy awards this year. He's selling some of his collection, I'm just thankful I had money. I had to outbid a few people to win this little guy, but he was well worth it.

BearAll is an awesome sculpt, for some reason I simply cannot say 'no' to a naughty toy. Genitalia on a bear is just genius to me, I guess I have some issues. It really is an adorable little bear design though, I hope to hunt down some of the other colour variants in the future, if I'm lucky.

I'm so glad I've become aware of Jon-Paul Kaiser(Rhyme Square) & his awesome little bears. He released a Red Panda edition recently, tragically I missed the 24hour period he made it available. Hopefully one shows up on eBay one day. For now, the Polar Edition suits my current 'white things' obsession, so I'm glad this is where my BearAll collection has begun.

Happy Tree Friends - Flippy

Who doesn't love Happy Tree Friends? I've been mildly obsessed since I first caught the show on tv about 12years ago. Got my first HTF plushie, Cuddles, a couple of years later(in a showbag at the Brisbane Ekka). Since I became a eBay freak in recent years, I've managed to hunt a few more down for my collection. The Hunter Leisure plush set is surprisingly difficult to come by, I often wonder if I'll ever complete the set.

However, I managed to hunt down Flippy recently. He's probably one of the harder to find(i think people like his dogtags), so I'm glad to have finally acquired him.

He's now on my bookshelf, amongst the 4 other characters I own(& a handful of other plushies).

One day I shall complete the set, by that point the entire back section of that shelve will be filled with HTF goodness. I really do love plushies, it's too bad they take up such an excessive amount of space! For this collection however, it's worth it.

Royal Pride Grey Stitch - Simone Legno(Tokidoki)

Got myself a Tokidoki Royal Pride Grey Stitch on eBay. The box is signed by Simone Legno as well, nice little addition to my purchase. It was released at San Diego Comic Con as part of the Royal Pride Grey collection this year.

Crazy as it may seem, I still don't own the original coloured version yet. I'm a little backwards like that sometimes. He's on my priority list though & I'll own him soon enough. For now, I'm quite happy with my new toy. I love a touch of punk amongst my toys, as I think I may have mentioned before, so Stitch is the perfect little character for my shelves.
